Evaluation of Integrated Programme on HIV/AIDS, Gender Based Violence and Poverty in the Free State, South Africa
Overview
Between 2003 and 2006, Oxfam GB implemented a poverty reduction strategy in the northern Free State Province of South Africa. Through partners, the programme aimed to integrate the service requirements of those affected by gender based violence, HIV and AIDS, and to impact positively on policy initiatives. The purpose of the final evaluation was to learn from and assess the integrated programme in order to ascertain whether it could fit into Oxfam GB’s new HIV and AIDS strategic framework.
