Ripe for Change: Methodology and datasets
Overview
In June 2018, Oxfam launched a new campaign to expose the economic exploitation faced by millions of small-scale farmers and workers in food supply chains, and mobilize the power of people around the world to help end it. The campaign is underpinned by extensive new research, as outlined in Oxfam’s Ripe for Change: Ending human suffering in supermarket supply chains report and associated annexes. Here you can find an overview of the methodologies behind the research and download the following raw datasets:
– Household Food Insecurity Access Scale data
– BASIC data: Analysis of the distribution of value across a basket of food commodities over time
– Supermarkets Scorecard data
