Overview

Anti-Slavery International is calling for the Brazilian Government and the ‘Working Group on Contemporary Forms of Slavery of Children’ to unite in efforts against the trafficking of women and girls in Brazil. These two bodies should also raise awareness of what has recently become an increasing problem. This article explains how women are tricked into prostitution, their experiences in the sex industry, and why they are unable to leave.
