Overview

Oxfam GB implemented a three-year community-based rural livelihoods programme in Shahr-I-Buzurg and Yawan Districts of Badakshan province, beginning in 2003. The programme sought to reduce the vulnerability of poor people by integrating livelihoods, health, education, gender and governance. An external, final evaluation was commissioned to assess the impact of the programme and to provide recommendations to shape the development of future interventions.
