Recent political moves have at last brought hope for meaningful political change in South Africa and the prospect of a free and independent future for millions of ordinary people in the region. Yet, as this timely report documents, apartheid continues to cause immense suffering inside South Africa, and the effects of destabilisation are still being felt daily in the neighbouring Front Line States.
