Overview

Oxfam has been piloting the combined use of mobile data collection and geographic information systems (GIS) tools to better monitor water, sanitation and hygiene facilities as part of its work to support Burundian refugees in Tanzania.

This case study describes how, as well as building capacity among staff, the pilot enabled the generation of timely and accurate data to support programme activities.
