Oxfam has called for urgent action to prevent the Ebola outbreak in West Africa from becoming the “definitive humanitarian disaster of our generation”.

But what caused this crisis, what are its effects and how will it be overcome? This easily-adaptable resource for 11-16 year olds develops knowledge and understanding of the crisis. Use the issue tree activity to encourage learners to think critically in terms of causes, impacts and solutions.
