Evaluation of Securing Rural Livelihoods Project in Northern Ghana
Overview
Oxfam launched the ‘Securing Rural Livelihoods Project’ in 2004/5. It sought to help small scale farmers in northern Ghana obtain, improve and sustain food and income security through increased crop production, improved animal production, and increased agro-forestry/afforestation (crops/livestock/trees integration). The purpose of the final evaluation is to review progress, determine whether objectives were achieved within the allotted timeframe, identify drawbacks to achieving objectives, and propose a way forward for Oxfam, its partner organisations and beneficiaries.
