Overview
This paper reports on the first human rights impact assessment (HRIA) carried out by Oxfam on behalf of Bolton Food’s in its canned tuna supply chain in Ecuador. It aims to evaluate actual and potential human rights impacts at the production stage of the value chain, to identify the root causes of these impacts and to provide recommendations to relevant stakeholders concerning their prevention, mitigation and/or remediation.
