Overview

Schools should be safe havens for children. But unfortunately, for millions of children around the world, school can be a place of violence and danger. World leaders have promised a safe, quality education for every child. But in many places, children face unacceptable risks and dangers, just by going to school.

Join the Make Schools Safe campaign and help to make schools safe, secure and welcoming for every child, everywhere. Use these resources for ages 8-18 to help learners to understand the key issues and think critically about causes, effects and solutions. Support learners to teach others about Make Schools Safe, hold a day of action and organise a successful meeting with your MP.

This campaign has now ended. Please visit Send My Friend to School to find out about and take part in this year’s campaign.
