Use a vulnerability game and diamond nine to encourage learners to think critically and share their opinions. Raise awareness in your school or community and influence MPs to help prevent the crisis worsening.
On 9 July 2011, South Sudan gained independence from Sudan but celebrations were short-lived. The new country faced daunting security and development challenges. In December 2013, renewed violence erupted across South Sudan. What have been the impacts of this violence and how should the international community respond?
