Overview

This three book series supports the development and delivery of Women’s Economic Leadership (WEL) programmes in Latin America and the Caribbean. It builds on work done by Oxfam GB and Value for Women on the delivery of market-based livelihood programmes with a focus on gender justice.

This book, the third in the series, introduces the ‘Violence Against Women’ (VAW) agenda and concepts and shows how to integrate them into an economic empowerment progamme. It also provides a toolkit to help practitioners assess the risks of VAW within their programmes and offers strategies to reduce and mitigate these risks.
